Hardware seller sdsnatcher73 dropped a good looking Sony HB-F1XDJ MSX2+ computer into the lootbox.
The illustrious MSX2+ was the successor to the MSX2, featuring some interesting new hardware. Its updated VDP offered promising hardware scrolling abilities and new screen modes, while the built-in MSX-Music eliminated the need for an external FM-PAC. However, it never sold overseas and remained exclusive to the Japanese market. But seriously, just look at them, they’re absolutely stunning. And the best part? We got one!
This Sony MSX2+, sponsored and delivered by Dutch retro hardware specialist sdsnatcher73, has been brushed of, cleaned-up, had her HIC-board recapped, and drive cleaned, greased and given a new belt. The HitBit machine comes with 64KB of RAM, and 128KB of VRAM, ren-sha turbo, a speed controller, pause button two external cartridge slots, and a QWERTY keyboard with added Japanese character set.
Many thanks to sdsnatcher73 for this amazing and beautiful looking piece of MSX hardware, a truly awesome gesture.
