Rocketman is an MSX1 space adventure that oozes 8-bit love. The team delivered a whole package of Rocketman goodies to the lootbox, and it’s glorious!
Not all new MSX games come through the MSXdev channels, and Rocketman is one of them. This recently self-released MSX1 title from Renovatio Retro Games Studio takes you on a thrilling galactic journey after being pulled into a wormhole and thrown into alien space.
To make it back, you’ll need to collect the scattered parts to rebuild your rocket while exploring a range of alien worlds. The game blends action-platform gameplay with exploration, puzzle-solving, and intense boss battles in a polished adventure. Please come home, lonely astronaut.
The delivered Rocketman package contains a full color cardboard box with the ROM resting on a soft pad and including a full color manual, stickers, a metal and a cloth badge, and an A3 poster. All the art work was designed by Ángel Luis Sánchez, known for his many game covers work back in the 80/90-ties. To top it of, an XL T-shirt is included as well. Now, that’s what we call “the full Monty”. Big thanks to Renovatio for this fantastic set of MSX goodness.
