Andrea Robba from Italy bring us Downgrade, a true classic-style vertical shooter which, inevitably due to its aspect, reminds us of those first games developed for the MSX standard in its beginnings. But this time, things are a bit different from what we are used to.
In Downgrade more is less, and vice versa. Unlike most shooter games, flying the most powerful spaceship will not be the passport to success, just the opposite. The reason behind this is simple. To reach the next level, you need to score 10,000 points, and the stronger you are, the fewer points enemies score. Bravo!
On the technical side, Downgrade offers action, different weapons, enemies, and sectors. Even a rudimentary vertical scroll, but given its simplicity, it is an interesting challenge for you all to enjoy.
